TassinariVetta, the studio founded by Paolo Tassinari and Pierpaolo Vetta in the early 1980s, specializes in the development of visual identity, editorial and environmental graphics projects.
A long-standing protagonist in the world of design for culture and a progressive interpreter of the contemporary world, TV relays on research as a working method, highlighting the character and uniqueness of each individual project.
Over the years this vision, together with the understanding of the world of architecture consolidated by the role in Casabella magazine, leads TV to design alongside major architects; likewise, the knowledge of the processes of the culture industry is the key to collaborations with major institutions in Italy and Europe: the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Venice Biennale, the Centre Pompidou, the Milan Triennale, the Holy See.
An unwavering designer, Paolo Tassinari has linked the name of the studio he founded with Pierpaolo Vetta to the visual communication for culture and institutions. Art director of Casabella international architectural magazine over 20+ years, currently visiting professor at the International School for Advanced Studies in Trieste, Italy, he held public roles in the cultural sector.
A member of the AGI Alliance Graphique Internationale since 2005 and past president of the Italian group, he was awarded the ADI Compasso d’Oro prize in 2011.
Giulia De Benedetto joined the TassinariVetta studio in 2017, becoming a partner in 2024. A graduate of the IUAV in Venice, she began her career as a graphic designer working in renowned Italian studios, before continuing her training and studying experimental typography in Paris. In 2023, she received an Honourable Mention at the Aiap Women in Design Awards.
Co-founder of the studio, Pierpaolo Vetta (1955–2003) began to devote himself to visual design in the 1970s, collaborating with the Venice Biennale and the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.
Progressively, his interest focused on the avant-garde of the 20th century and the use of typography in communication, as evidenced by lettering he designed for visual identities and posters.
A lecturer at the IUAV in Venice from 2000 to 2003, with Sergio Polano he published Abecedario, an anthological history of 20th century graphic design, in 2002.
Leonardo Sonnoli was a partner at TassinariVetta from 2003 to 2016.
